Etihad Stadium is a multi-purpose facility designed to cater for major sporting and entertainment events, as well as social, business and private functions.
Since opening on March 9, 2000 well over 28 million people have passed through the venue's turnstiles.
The stadium hosts more than 50 AFL matches a season and throughout summer, hosts A-League and Twenty20 Big Bash League games. The venue also regularly stages international sporting events such as Rugby League World Cup matches, Rugby Union Tests and World Cup qualifiers.
Etihad Stadium has also hosted many concert spectaculars featuring international performers such as Andre Rieu, Robbie Williams, Barbra Streisand, Coldplay, Bon Jovi, Kiss, U2, ACDC, Eminem, Bruce Springsteen and many others.
Etihad Stadium has five AFL tenant clubs – Essendon, Western Bulldogs, St Kilda, Kangaroos and Carlton, as well as one A-League club, Melbourne Victory and one BBL team, the Melbourne Renegades.
TRANSPORT
CAR PARK
Etihad Stadium has three levels of parking spaces which can be accessed from Wurundjeri Way (Car Park D & E) or the Bourke Street Extension (Car Park A & B). The Car Park has more than 2,500 spaces available, including 61 Disabled Parking bays and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Event day parking at the Stadium is $25.
